Documattic allows users to share documents with other parties. The parties will require a Documattic account in order to securely log into Documattic and view the shared resource.
Clicking on the ‘Share’ icon within the document details will display two options:
- Email link (allows the user to email the document to one or many recipients and include a message)
- Copy link (allows a user to copy the unique URL and post to another user via email, instant messaging, social media, etc.)
Clicking on the ‘Email link’ icon will display the email form.
The user can enter one or multiple email addresses, and then craft a unique message to send to the recipients of the shared document.
Each invited recipient will then receive an email with the embedded message, and a link to the shared document.
Clicking on the link, the user will first need to authenticate with the Documattic site, and then the details of the shared document will be presented to the user.
